Ituner Networks Corporation announces MEDIABOX

Fremont, CA - January 5, 2000 - Ituner Networks Corp, a leading provider of Internet Broadcasting Services and a RealNetworks Partner, is now bringing its expertise to the webcasting arena with the new MediaBox.

The MediaBox is a professional, ultra-compact server/encoder system that enables Broadcasters, ISPs, Educators and Corporations to encode and serve live and on-demand video and audio over the Internet, in a matter of minutes. In a tour de force of integration, the MediaBox can serve RealAudio, RealVideo, RealMedia G2 (RSTP) and Live MP3 from XingTech, thus assuring content providers that their programming will be available to the largest audiences over the Internet.

The MediaBox offers everything needed for a complete Internet Audio and Video broadcast system, including multiple live encoders, multiple streaming platforms and even a well-tuned Web Server. While serving hundreds of connections, the MediaBox can also encode live RealAudio, RealVideo and MP3 streams. The MediaBox can handle up to three simultaneous audio and video sources, crunching and compressing the live streams in a heartbeat.

Ituner's new system can automatically schedule encoding and archiving tasks using MediaBoxCron, a sophisticated scheduling system designed for the Internet Broadcasters.

Our machine is based on the RedHat Linux OS - optimized for superior stability and network performance. Our engineers spent endless hours tuning the latest kernel, providing broadcasters with the ultimate streaming platform" said Raluca Neacsu, MediaBox project manger, Ituner Networks Corp. Ituner Networks Corporation (formerly known as Ituner Internet Broadcasting Services) is currently broadcasting Radio and TV stations from more than 20 countries, making Ituner a leader in the International Streaming Arena.
