Radio Romania International joins the EE-Radio Relay Project
Under the East European Radio Project, founded by Ituner Networks Corp. in 1996, Radio Romania International will start broadcasting all its 3 channels over the Internet and will become the 19-th East European radio station in the program.
“Since our broadcasts, send out in 18 languages in short-waves, could only be reached in some regions of the world and only at scheduled hours, Internet broadcasting has the huge advantage of allowing many more listeners over the world to be simultaneously in touch with our everyday broadcastings, said Valentin Danci, Head of the IT Department of Radio Romania International. And this is even more important for us, at RRI, since our target audience is scattered all around the globe.”
"As new members of the EE-Radio Program, we would like to thank Ituner Networks for its efforts to help East European broadcasters acquire a loud international voice, similar to that of the Western countries and we express our hope that in the future, , we can all join hands in a common East European effort to ensure that our countries are not left behind in the informational revolution that’s going on in the world today."
