 About EE-Radio

EE-Radio Project was founded in 1996 to help Radio and TV stations in the region to reach a broader audience of the public with the message of free press, free speech and free spirit. Under this program, Ituner is providing free broadcasting services to more than 20 Eastern and Central European local and national radio and TV stations.  Recently, the EE-Radio Relay Project has turned into the Eastern European Radio Network.

Mission: The EE-Radio’s activities stem from the following strategic objectives:

  • Support and encourage independent and responsible media in the countries of Eastern and Central Europe as a contribution to the consolidation and acceleration of the democratic reform process in these countries.

  • Facilitate the access of Eastern European broadcasters to new technology and new media delivery methods.

  • Promotion of free speech, objective reporting, social tolerance and solidarity, minority cultures, cosmopolitan values and alternative culture

  • Encourage and support the production of original content by providing local producers with delivery tools and services.

  • Facilitate access to reliable news and information from the region

  • Increase understanding of the cultural diversity and richness of the Eastern and Central European region by exposing it to new and wider audience over the Internet;
